Helen is one such business women who started her garments production and retailing business in Malaysia about twelve years ago. So after taking a small loan from a bank, she was able to increase the volume and space of the business that she had envisioned. The aim behind the hard work and dedication was not just monetary gains but also the social cause of giving a decent livelihood to the large number of workers that she had hired.
Reading through books and learning through workshops and short courses, Helen was able to manage herself as a talented and well versed entrepreneur. Her success story of business in Malaysia have urged other women of the region to take the initiative and work on their own to gain financial as well as social independence.
